Descriptions

Command a force of thousands of units into strategic warfare in this new real time strategy game.

Fortify your base with turrets, surface to air missile launchers, torpedo launchers, and long range cannons.

Next create factories to pump out enormous legions of vehicles, aircraft, and ships to wage war with, you decide what to build.

Form groups with the easy to use grouping interface and transport units to prepare for an assault on the enemy!  Finally execute your strategic battle plan and enjoy the immense carnage that ensues.

With unique explosions, wreckages, sound effects, and animations for every unit the carnage is as beautiful as it is deadly.  Discover and mine unique resources to build gigantic mega units which can turn the tides of war instantly!

As the commander of a massive war campaign you can navigate stealth aircraft and submarines on recon missions, airlift units into the fight via helis, scout tread marks left by enemy tanks to their base, and hide under trees for an ambush attack.

My review to this game is AWESOME!! I haven’t even scratch the surface of this game yet as I only played the newbie difficulty level.

The units unfortunately is almost the same between countries but I cannot ask for much as this is one of the better port of an actual full fledge “REAL TIME STRATEGY” RTS game into the iPad that probably revolutionized the  touch screen interface for real time strategy games.

Previous attempts in making such games on the iPad almost failed miserably without a proper use of the touch screen interface and still holding back the mouse controls interface making it terrible to play in real time.

This game however changes the way we do RTS on touch screen probably forever making it easier to command multiple troops grouping efficiently and even rallying newly built units to a preset location!

the map is HUGE and takes some time for the units to move around, the video above are using a SMALL map and it took almost an minute to cross the fantastic terrain.

I haven’t even skim the surface yet, there’s more to be discovered over time but it is definitely a time sinker! 😀

There are things I hope the developer can add more is the diversity of units between countries to make them unique & make them balanced, which I know is a very tough thing to do.

Starcraft I/II managed to balance 3 different class of units with different strength & weaknesses which is one of the key point to RTS.

There is also one of the key features of Starcraft is the ability to play multiplayer which I hope the developer can add to this wonderful game!

One last wish is a map editor within the game to create our own custom games & maybe AI triggers so that we can make tower defense games or line wars or tug of war!

Highly recommend this game as we can see this as the beginning of the future mobile touch screen command and control user interface!
